Discover Linocut - Omaha

Discover the fun of creating your own stamp from start to finish! You will become familiar with vocabulary, techniques, and safety for carving linoleum. You will leave with knowledge of the art of linocut, practice with five gouges and multiple techniques, and your own stamp that can be used on paper or fabric. Please bring a simple image you would like to carve, that is three to four inches in height and width. You will receive a complete kit as part of the class fee, that you can use at home for more fun, with sources for purchasing additional linoleum. Please bring your reading glasses if needed.
