Starter Stitches - Embroidery 101

Have you tried embroidery, but it’s been a long time? Are you intimidated by requirements you think exist? Modern embroidery has a whole new set of rules and it definitely has nothing to say about the back of your work being neat! 

Join me on Zoom to learn six basic stitches in the shape of your choice. Ill send you outlines of circles and rainbows or you can create outlines of your own. We'll also talk about the new "rules" of embroidery and a couple of variations that can be applied to many stitches. Sign up with a friend or come by yourself ready to make new friends! 

Class size is limited to 6 participants and the cost is $35. I hope you’ll join me for an evening of imperfectly beautiful stitching!

You will need to provide your own supplies for this event. No kit will be provided or sent. After registration I will give you instructions about what you need, but in general you should be sure you have access to embroidery floss of any type, a needle that you are able to thread, and some type of fabric. There must be three people registered for this class or it will be canceled.
